The ‘Coach Approach Leadership Academy™’ is owned and operated by Pam Griffiths Coaching Inc.
Access and Use
By accessing and using this site (including registering for our educational programs and coaching services), you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the site. We reserve the right to make changes to them at any time without notice, so regularly check for updates. By using the site, following an update, you are agreeing to the terms of the update.
These terms and conditions are subject to the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. The courts of Ontario shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute between Pam Griffiths Coaching Inc. and you (except for any matter involving infringement of the intellectual property rights in the Content, in which case the jurisdiction of the Ontario Courts shall be non-exclusive).
Trademarks, Copyright, and Confidentiality
All information, text, graphics, video, sound clips, software, and other material of this website and all manuals, training, and coaching materials provided by The Coach Approach Leadership Academy™ (the “Content” that includes all accredited coach training and business development programs) are Copyright © 2023 Pam Griffiths Coaching Inc. All Rights Reserved. All other trademarks, service marks, and logos used on this website are the property of their respective owners.
Except as provided in the “License” clause, you agree to hold confidential the coaching and training techniques, forms, methods, processes, concepts, and other material embodied in the Content on the website, in the weekly group calls/webinars, and as otherwise delivered by The Coach Approach Leadership Academy™. This clause survives termination of this agreement for any reason.
Information of any sort shared by you during our live Q&A calls, coaching sessions, or during coach training will be kept strictly confidential and in accordance with the Ethics and Guidelines of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). As will your proprietary information, ideas, plans, and trade secrets. Any materials and information provided to you by the Company are confidential and are its proprietary intellectual property, belonging solely and exclusively to the Company, and may only be used by you as authorized by the Company. The reproduction, distribution, and sale of any such Company materials by anyone but the Company is strictly prohibited.
We respect your privacy and must insist that you respect the privacy of fellow members. By signing below, you agree not to violate the publicity or privacy rights of any Program member. We respect your confidential and proprietary information collectively (“Confidential Information”), and we expect that you respect the same rights of fellow Program members and of the Company.
Payment of the Fees and Late Fees
Our terms are payment of the “Fees” as set out on the registration web pages. Payment may be made by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, and AMEX) or PayPal. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel your registration for a course if we have not received payment of the Fees strictly in accordance with the payment schedule you elect. Logins will be suspended 7 days after payment defaults, and the full account will become due 30 days after payment defaults.
If you have paid a deposit for a course, you may elect to defer to a course commencing no later than 1 year from the date of paying your deposit, bearing in mind that you will be liable for any Fee increases over that period. If you do not pay your full course Fee within this time, your deposit is not refundable.
If you fail to meet the above and payment is not made, Pam Griffiths Coaching Inc. will pursue legal action for the outstanding fee, and any legal costs incurred will be paid for by you.
GST/HST and Tax
Fees quoted in Canadian Dollars are inclusive of Goods and Services, Harmonized Sales Tax (“GST/HST”) prescribed by the Government of Canada (for Canadian residents only), together with any other sales tax, withholding tax, and any other tax or duty imposed on a supply of the Services (apart from any taxes or duties to which the Coach Approach Leadership Academy™ is liable). Programs are payable in USD or CDN dollars.
Additional Costs to You
On payment of the Fees, you are entitled to access the training material (in stages as determined by PGC Inc.), live webinars, and face-to-face workshops.
You will be responsible for all costs, including connection to your Internet Service Provider and the cost of your telephone or Zoom for accountability and peer coaching calls as well as group training classes. These calls may or may not be to destinations outside your country. As well as related travel expenses such as hotel and meals when attending live face-to-face training and retreats.
Pam Griffiths Coaching Inc. (PGC Inc.) has a 30-day refund policy. If you wish to withdraw from the program for a specific personal reason(s), you must inform PGC Inc. via email to email@example.com within 30 days of your enrollment date. You must have participated in and documented all group calls leading up to that time. In addition, you must have a minimum of 1 documented session with your Peer Coach. Your deposit, less an administrative fee of $250 CDN, will be refunded. No refunds will be considered after 45 days unless accompanied by a letter expressing a medical emergency. If you choose to apply your training investment to a future cohort, you may request to reserve your seat for the upcoming session. Our goal is to provide you with the best-aligned coaching program and support to help you achieve your goals.
100% satisfaction guarantee. If you participate in the Academy, complete the required course work, and do not gain ANY value upon completion of the full program, you may receive a full refund.
A one-time modification to registration, including substitutions of participants or transfer of course dates, must be completed at least seven days before the current program date. Participants may contact PGC Inc. to modify their registration at firstname.lastname@example.org or (905)933-7833. Course changes will be allowed as long as there are spots available and the ‘new’ course is within 12 months from the original course.
Missed sessions are non-refundable. If you have an emergency or become ill and are not able to attend a coach training session, please contact us immediately at email@example.com. You will be expected to complete the session materials, review the session recording, and complete a coaching session outside the live session to make up for the missed session.
Group sessions will be recorded and available in Ruzuku should you be unable to attend a session. Additional training time with faculty may be required to complete coach training hours. Individual sessions may be rescheduled. Where possible, please provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice should you be unable to attend a group session or need to reschedule an individual session.
Mentor coaching group sessions are not recorded. If you miss a mentor coaching group session, you will need to arrange and pay for individual mentor coaching sessions to complete the required 10 hours of mentor coaching to satisfy the International Coaching Federation requirements. One-on-one sessions may be rescheduled at no additional cost if advanced notice is provided and fits within the terms of the agreement.
Transfer of Credit Policy
Will not accept partial credit from other organizations or programs.
At this time, we are not able to accept partial course credit from other organizations or programs. Even if you have completed a Level 1 program, you must enroll for the entirety of a Level 2 program. Individuals with questions about this process should contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
License (Coach Training Programs)
On payment of your Fees, Coach Approach Leadership Academy™ grants you a non-exclusive license (with no right to grant sublicenses) to use our coaching techniques and items strictly for the purposes of providing coaching services to both individuals and groups, including businesses and corporations. You may provide items from Coach Approach Leadership Academy™ to, and use them with, your clients. However, you may not make them accessible to the general public on your website or through other means unless specifically allowed in the Copyright notice of a particular piece of content.
Any written material reproduced by you which includes any part or all of the items from the Coach Approach Leadership Academy™ must include attribution of authorship to the Coach Approach Leadership Academy™ and the applicable Copyright notices and contact information. You may not adapt, abridge, alter, or repackage items from the Coach Approach Leadership Academy™ without written permission of Pam Griffiths Coaching Inc.
You may not use items from the Coach Approach Leadership Academy™ or any of the learning content itself, or our coaching or training techniques to train coaches. This license remains in force provided it is not terminated or revoked under the “Termination” clause.
Graduation, Requirements, and Revocation
Payment of the Fees does not guarantee *Graduation (*graduation specifically applies to our ICF-accredited coach training that provides students with coach training hours and Continuing Coach Education Units toward earning or maintaining an ICF credential).
To ensure quality training, graduation from our ICF-accredited courses is at the sole discretion of the Coach Approach Leadership Academy™ faculty and CALA licensees. You will be required to pass a minimum criterion, including but not limited to a) a number of training and coaching hours, b) a number of weekly group training calls, c) one or more examinations or assessment tests, d) verbal and written feedback from the Coach Approach Leadership Academy™ faculty members, e) participation in online discussion forums, and f) maintain ethical conduct.
Coach Approach Leadership Academy™ guarantees up-to-date coach training accreditation by the International Coach Federation. Upon successful completion of the Coach Approach Leadership Academy™ Level 1 & Level 2, you will have met the minimum 60-hour training requirement toward your application for your ICF coach credential.
The full program completion timeframe ranges from 6 months to 3 years. If you are unsure of the time commitment to complete coach training or business development, you should clarify at the time of enrollment to outline the best path for your needs. If you do not meet the graduation requirements as determined by the Coach Approach Leadership Academy™ faculty within your program, you may be eligible at our discretion to extend your training period for an additional fee to be determined by the Coach Approach Leadership Academy™.
In order for all students to participate in the Coach Approach Leadership Academy™ programs, all payments or fees must be completed through a monthly payment plan or prior to attending their training.
Coach Approach Leadership Academy™ will provide one certificate upon successful completion and graduation from the program for which the student is enrolled. The certificate will include the name of the student, the certification attained; the date of graduation or attainment, and each certificate will be numbered and recorded. Requests for additional copies of certificates will incur a fee to be determined by the Coach Approach Leadership Academy™.
Licensees: Your Graduation Certificate as the licensee may at any time be revoked, and you agree to return it to the Coach Approach Leadership Academy™ if, in the opinion of the Coach Approach Leadership Academy™, you do not meet the ethical conduct guidelines set down from time to time by the International Coach Federation, or if you breach any other conditions of this agreement. In the case of your licensee Certificate being revoked, your License to use the Material is also revoked, and your Fees are not refundable.
Access to the online learning platform may also be revoked if we consider your behaviour to breach our terms and conditions and/or the ICF Code of Ethics.
Services for licensees
We will provide distance and online learning for coach training and related educational services (the “Services”) and a “License” to use our coaching techniques and Client Materials to you for the Fee and according to the commencement and syllabus terms set out on the web pages describing each course. Zero Tolerance Policy
Within this website, we will not tolerate the distribution of (by whatever means) content that is libellous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, illegal, or that we otherwise deem distasteful or objectionable (at our sole discretion).
You are not permitted to use our chat areas, bulletin boards, or E-mail service in any commercial manner. Any commercial solicitation by you of our other uses is prohibited. Guests are solely responsible for the content of their own messages. Violation of this clause may, at the discretion of The Coach Approach System™ Academy, result in suspension or cancellation of your course without refund.

Pam Griffiths Coaching Inc. (PGC Inc.) seeks to ensure equitable treatment of every person and to attempt to solve any grievances in a timely and fair manner. Participants have the right to file a grievance regarding presentation or content, facility concerns, or instructor/faculty behavior. All grievances will be addressed to the best of our ability to prevent further problems. A process for filing grievances can be found below:
- Step 1: A participant should first attempt to resolve the issue directly with the educator/trainer, staff, or participant with whom they have an issue. If participants are not comfortable approaching the individual, they can proceed to step 2.
- Step 2: If participants are not comfortable approaching the individual with whom they have a grievance or are unable to resolve the issue directly, participants should submit a written grievance to Sionette Ottey, Business Manager, at firstname.lastname@example.org within 5 business days. The Business Manager will review the issue and talk to the student within 3 business days of receiving the complaint and will work with all parties involved to resolve the issue.
- Step 3: If a participant does not feel the issue is resolved, a written request for an appeal should be sent to Pam at email@example.com for review. This appeal should include the original complaint and reason(s) the participant is unsatisfied with the resolution attempt(s). Appeals are reviewed, and a written response will be provided to the participant within 3 business days. All appeal decisions are final.
Recording of Weekly Group Training Classes
The training classes are generally recorded. These recordings are used for purposes such as training our trainers and training you. You agree to such recording without us giving you notice and to us using the recordings for training purposes. We are committed to creating a safe space to enable our coaches to train freely. *See confidentiality
Information of any sort shared by you or other participants during our coaching sessions will be kept strictly confidential and in accordance with the Ethics and Guidelines of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). As will your proprietary information, materials, ideas, plans, and trade secrets belong solely and exclusively to you. Any materials and information provided to you by PGC Inc. are confidential and are its proprietary intellectual property, belonging solely and exclusively to PGC Inc., and may only be used by you as authorized by PGC Inc. The reproduction, distribution, and sale of any such PGC Inc. materials by anyone but PGC Inc. are strictly prohibited.
You agree that the Coach Approach Leadership Academy™ may terminate your use of the Services and remove and discard any Content within the Service for any reasonable reason, including, without limitation, for lack of use, if the Coach Approach Leadership Academy™ believes that you have violated or acted inconsistently with the letter or spirit of these Terms and Conditions, non-payment of the Fees, or for behaviour or conduct inconsistent with the ethics and standards set down by the International Coach Federation and PGC Inc.
You agree that any termination of your access to the Services, the Content, or this website under any provision of this Terms and Conditions of Use may be affected without prior notice and acknowledge and agree that the Coach Approach Leadership Academy™ may immediately deactivate or delete your account and all related information and files in your account and/or bar any further access to such files or the Services. Your License to use the Material would be revoked, as would your Graduation Certificate, unless otherwise agreed by the Coach Approach Leadership Academy™. Further, you agree that the Coach Approach Leadership Academy™ shall not be liable to you or any third party for any termination of your access to the Services, except as provided in the ‘Links’ clause.
We are committed to protecting the security of our customers’ information as well as the confidentiality of commercial and corporate information within the web server hosting our website (s) and our internal computer systems.
Please note as well that unencrypted E-mail communications over the Internet are not secure (i.e., private) at this time. We do not encourage anyone to send information which must remain confidential to us using unencrypted E-mail. (We provide a secure web page for sending financial information). We are not liable if you send confidential information to us over the Internet using regular, unencrypted E-mail.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
a) While we are committed to providing quality training, and we select our web server based on service and reputation, the Coach Approach Leadership Academy™ does not warrant that the functions contained in any Content, the Website, or the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any defects will be corrected within a particular time frame, or that the Network or the server which stores and transmits Content to you are free of viruses or any other harmful components,
b) Coach Approach Leadership Academy™ will make all reasonable endeavours to ensure you have consistent access to the training material. Beyond this, we do not warrant or make any representation regarding your access to, or the results of your access to, the website (including any related or linked websites) or any Content or the Services in terms of correctness, accuracy, timeliness, completeness, reliability or otherwise as a result of actions or inaction on the part of our host web company,
c) The coaching methods taught and coaching provided as part of the Services are not a substitute for your independent judgment and experience. Coach Approach Leadership Academy™ does not warrant or guarantee that the coaching methods appearing in the Content, or the coaching provided during your course, will work in any particular circumstances, for you, or for any particular client. You, and your clients, are responsible and liable for the results they and you produce using the coaching methods and techniques,
d) At stages during the program, you may be required to be coached by either a student coach or an experienced coach. You acknowledge you are responsible for your own actions, inaction, and decisions taken as a result of your coaching and will not hold your coach or the Coach Approach Leadership Academy™ responsible for any results or lack of results as a result of such coaching.
Under no circumstances (including but not limited to any act or omission on the part of the Coach Approach Leadership Academy™) will the Coach Approach Leadership Academy™ be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, and/or consequential damages or loss of profits whatsoever which result from any use or access of, or any inability to use or access, the website, the Services, or any Content. You expressly acknowledge and agree that the Coach Approach Leadership Academy™does not exert control over users of the website and is not liable either for their opinions or their behaviour, including any information and/or advice and any defamatory statements or offensive conduct.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Coach Approach Leadership Academy’s™ liability for breach of any implied warranty or condition which cannot be excluded is limited at the option of the Coach Approach Leadership Academy™ to the following:
in the case of Services (including the Content) supplied or offered by the Coach Approach Leadership Academy™, (a) the supply of the services again, or (b) the payment of the cost of having services supplied again; and
in the case of goods supplied or offered by the Coach Approach Leadership Academy™, (a) the replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods, (b) the repair of such goods, (c) the payment of the cost of replacing the goods or acquiring equivalent goods, or (d) the payment of the cost of having the goods repaired.

It is not intended to be a substitute for professional legal advice and does not constitute a legal opinion or legal advice for any purpose. Coaching is not consulting or therapy. This does not affect the consumer’s statutory rights.
You acknowledge and agree that in providing coaching services to any third party, you are not an agent or employee of the Coach Approach Leadership Academy™ or Pam Griffiths Coaching Inc.
